Kikuyu grass also has a thick mat feeling under the foot. It is extremely hardy and very low maintenance. Just for little water and fertiliser, this lawn will be thick and lush. It resists weeds and does very well in wet/soggy, drain like growing condition. All the way to a dry ridge, it will survive and thrive. However keep the edges and garden beds well defined as it will invade any availabled space.
